Bautista hit a three-run homer to left field in the sixth, against Brett Myers, and added a solo homer in the eighth against compatriot Jose Valdez.
The slugger leads the majors with 18 homers and had his third game of the season with more than one home run.
Escobar gave Toronto a 6-4 lead in the seventh with a two-run homer after the Jose Molina had tied it 4-4 with a single to center.
Escobar's homer also was against Myers (1-4), who has not won in his last seven starts since April 12. The right-hander allowed six runs _cinco earned, in six and two thirds of input.
Casey Janssen (1-0) pitched one inning and got the win. Octavio Dotel ended the game and scored his first save of the year.
